Fico celebrates the food and traditions of Puglia in southern Italy. This beachfront restaurant is inspired by the masserias from the region. Comfortable built-in banquettes and a long, communal table are combined with ceramic table lamps with linen shades to create a more relaxed, domestic feeling. The tables are made locally, using fallenTembusu trees. The interior features a terracotta tiled floor and a custom celling light installation, made by historic Puglian workshop, Parisi 1876. An edited palette of hand glazed tiles and raw linen curtains complement the plaster wall sconces, which are paired with pistachio painted windows and doors and handmade travertine stone door handles.
