40 Duke at Selfridges redefines the personal shopping experience as a members’ club, merging retail with hospitality. It has been conceived as a beautifully decorated collector's home, with contemporary furniture and design pieces throughout – and a striking collection of art.

Located on the fourth floor of the Selfridges building in Oxford Street, 40 Duke comprises a reception, salon, jewellery room, terrace restaurant, club lounge and private dining room. The iconic bar, under a kinetic light installation by Studio Elementaires, serves as a focal point for the members’ club.

For personal shopping, there are 24 suites and studios. Each is individually designed to cater to every need - and taste. The suite interiors include a reworking of traditional luxury materials such as burl veneers, terrazzo and custom lacquer joinery, paired with classic design pieces. In the studios, built-in banquettes sit within interiors of cork, stainless steel screens and fixtures, colourful wool carpets and a silver painted ceiling and feature furniture from contemporary designers.
